Low-Level Light (LLT) Laser Pain Therapy (cold laser) Qualified Low-Level Light Laser Pain Therapy in Geelong and Surrounds

What Is Laser Therapy?

LLLT is the application of red and near infra-red light over injuries to improve soft tissue healing. It is commonly used to treat a range of persistent conditions which can be difficult to treat. These include all types of joint and muscle pains, sprains and strains including back and neck pain and also arthritis. So if you are suffering from a pain which seems impossible to relieve, I may be able to help.
Skin conditions such as Psoriasis, open wounds, Ulcers, Acne & Eczema also benefit from LLLT. Low Level Laser Therapy uses light energy to stimulate cells, helping them to function optimally, which in turn encourages the healing process. Once the photons fi nd the injured tissues, they stimulate and energise the cells to repair and strengthen at a remarkably fast rate. Over the last 50 years of use, in depth research has proven that there are only positive effects from the use of LLLT.

It is completely painless and there is no heating effect during stimulation of cells, unlike other electrotherapy modalities. LLLT will not alter a cell or tissues, instead it enhances what a cell would do naturally by providing energy to the mitochondria, the power house of cells.
